Dr. Steven Crognale, Dr. Patricia Collins and Dr. Melissa Crognale

Crognale, Collins & Crognale Dentistry got its start on April 1st, 1981. Steven Crognale and Patricia Collins Crognale started seeing patients that first day and have served the Lancaster community ever since. Their daughter Melissa was born in September of that year and grew up in the practice. Many of our long time patients remember her as a child playing in the waiting room. She decided to follow in her parents path and joined our practice in 2008.

All three of our doctors serve the community by volunteering time and services to those in need. Additionally, Dr Crognale is a member of the American Dental Association, and Dr Collins is a member of the American Association of Women Dentists.

“We love it there, and that's hard to say when one goes to the dentist, so happy my kids are comfortable there also, so updated and nice receiptionist, so welcoming as soon as you enter, I highly recommend!!!!” - Madeline M.

Children's Dentistry

We recommend bringing your child in for his or her first dental appointment within 6 months of the arrival of their first tooth. Early preventive care is key to giving your children a long-lasting, healthy smile.

At your child's first visit, our doctors and staff will do our best to make the experience a positive and exciting one.  We will:

  • Review medical and dental history with you
  • Assess growth and development through a thorough oral exam
  • Discuss and risks with you related to future complications, like cavities
  • Do a thorough cleaning and help your child learn the best ways to take care of his or her teeth at home
  • Discuss developmental changes and habits with you (teething, pacifier use, thumb-sucking, etc.)
  • Give you info on what to do in case of emergencies

We will also make sure that your kids have a great time while here, and go home wanting to visit us again. For any questions regarding pediatric dentistry or to set up an appointment, please call us today.
